Annelise and her bike all prettied-up for the Independence Day breakfast at our church.
We enrolled the boys in Superhero Camp in July, where they received special top secret training which they take VERY seriously, along with their secret identities "Lightning" (above) and "Strongman" (below). But don't let anyone know I told you. They also brought home these costumes which they wore every day for the rest of the Summer.
Febrile Seizure, anyone? We had our first and freaked right out. (Why didn't anyone tell us?!?) We rushed Annelise to the ER where we spent a few hours watching Tangled and waiting for the Doc to tell us she was OK. This picture makes me laugh. The perfect capturing of the moment of trying to remain positive while coaxing a urine sample out of a two-year-old.
This is what happens when you tell little boys to help paint....and then leave.

OT: This morning as I was getting her dressed and noticed she had picked out a black shirt and black pants, I commented on her choice.
Me: Wow! You are wearing all black today. Are you a Ninja?
Annelise: No! I have pink panties on!!
